Personally, Im ok with it. Companies would start showing American made products, “no tariff” products. Let people decide which route they want.
And like a free market always does, it will create competition. Stores will start advertising discounted tariff goods, then “we’ll pay the tariffs” if you purchase over $100….etc
They just caved, will not put that info online. I think it would be great, TBH. Country of origin and tariff info would allow me to do just a little bit more with my online shopping to Make America Great Again. Seems like a small thing, but if a few million people did the same it would be YUUUUUUUGE.
I hope Amazon does it. I think it's a great idea and she is wrong. It is not hostile or political.
It allows us to see how much of a products price is tax. And therefore allows you to shop for alternate products that are made here or maybe made in lower tariff countries.
I wish in Kalifornia we got our costs broken down this way so you could see how much your hero Gavin Screwum is raping all of us on the daily
Kalifornia used to post that. It was a law they itemized every gallon of gas. I vividly remember stickers on the poles by the pumps, showing the taxes.
They are still there, but usually up high on the inside of the pump island so you barely notice them. I used to laugh at all those dorks that converted their old diesel Mercedes and Volvos into running on used cooking oil. I still laugh at them, just not as loud.
Buy American Kevin, I know that the allure of cheap Chinese vibrators and leather outfits is too enticing for you to pass up, but you will get more mileage out of quality goods made right here in the good old US of A.
I saw that news note this morning. I think it is a great disclosure for the consumer to see. Why is the White House so upset about that disclosure? Did they think we wouldn’t know that tariffs are the reason for price increases? At this point everyone must surely understand that tariffs are just another sales tax. Right?
So I like it because if you eat it fairly quickly you both get the taste of orange sauce, the warm chicken but ALSO the breading is crispy. It's awesome.
Now the serving is big enough that with the rice that comes with it, it's like 3 meals for me. So either share it or take it home. But eat that chicken right away before the sauce soaks in and gets soft.
When I reheat it later I find that doing so in a toaster oven does the best a reheat can for the crispy part. Still mostly soft at that point. Too messy and drippy to use an air fryer. And a microwave makes everything softer.
So that's how I deal with the leftovers. My last fortune said I was about to begin an AMAZING adventure, so that's probably the place you should go
Yes I like the crispy too. And when I have it the next day my wife puts it in the oven. It would be soggy if put in the micro. Will definitely have it the next time. Stii can't get over how nice and gracias the owner was when we were leaving. we are about due to make another Costco run so will try the orange chicken next week.
Kung po suits him better, sucking on hot peppers puts him in the mood for his glory hole at the Hotel Laguna
That’s not happening, Bezos listened to Trump.

I think it's a good idea for Amazon, passing on the cost to consumer. Cheap crap from China is no longer cheap and will not be purchased.

No surprise since virtually all their crap comes from China.
By the way, most is non essential stuff.
