Maybe it's just the quack in me too scared to face reality, but I just don't see it. Nor does Canzano (aka Larry Scott's personal nemesis). I do remember way back when Bellotti seriously considered it, though...

Hes not a candidate.
At all.
Good to know, Augie! And welcome back to the WW!! Missed ya!
BTW I personally think USC could do worse than hire a guy who is 2-0 vs USC, has 2 conference championships, a Rose Bowl win, secured the top recruiting class in the p12 three (going on four) years straight, and just notched the most notable p12 regular season victory in decades. All in basically 3 years as head coach at Oregon.
But that's probably just me... 🙂
And, yes, I fully agree should USC finally hire a head coach with a pulse, a lot of that will end up being MUCH more difficult for Oregon to achieve going forward. But a strong USC should help all in the p12, so I'm looking forward to see how this works out....one way or the other.
Your local paper says no; well thats definitive.
Well, it's really just simply called logic....
And trust me, Canzano is no fan of Oregon athletics.
@LA Duck Maybe we can bid his price up if nothing else.
I read that his dream job is Miami.
Make that "Alabama".....bridges are all but burned for a return to Miami (at least for him, they'd love for him to be HC there still).
Methinks the man doth protest too much.
Fuck you, Haden.
Canzano deserves to be in the Pac hall of fame for his attacks on Larry Scott
I would be shocked if USC went after and got him. He's in a good situation and even if USC gets a really good coach I think it might take a couple of years for him to capture California in recruiting while in the meantime, Mario has a young team that can get a lot of publicity by wining a shoddy PAC and beating a couple teams OOC that have rep's. Plus Uncle Phil is a tough man to beat when it comes to taking a coach that he wants to keep. IMHO
