It was the right thing to do but better late than never. There has been pressure to do this long before Cohen set foot on campus. It should have never happened.
when has usc ever stuck their neck out and dared to lead? never. they are pussies.
This was Reggie making his intentions clear back in 2021 when NIL was getting approved and the various HT winners backing him. They all know others (read: others, including them) got paid during their playing days and they were more guilty of violations that Reggie was. This meant there was a sword of damacles hanging over all of their legacies. Better to let Reggie get his HT back than people start looking into their playing days and having more HTs retracted.
That's what this was all about. Shutting down the lynch mob when before the obvious hyprocrisy started coming into focus.
Yahtzee. I think when Manziel and other winners start d speaking up the HT sensed the momentum and got ahead of it. Which makes them 100% more perceptive than the ncaa
The pressure was building on the Heisman Trust to do the right thing
And return the Heisman. It was not if but when. The final nail in the trust’s coffin was when Johnny Manzeil said he would not have anything to do with the Heisman til Reggie was in. And you could be sure there were others ready to do the same. The hypocrisy of the Heisman trust treating Reggie different then other winners who committed far worse violations than Reggie was so apparent. They had to save face and reinstate him.
She was so fixated on Reggie’s revoked Heisman, she forgot to close the backdoor to the Big ten. And the Ducks slipped in. But for the record , I wished she had closed the door.
what, to hang out w the beavs and cougs? you don't have the academics for the acc, and you don't have the cred for the sec. Big 12, playing ia state and never tu or ou was your hope?
Big ten is about to be 20 plus teams. Ducks staring at 3-4 losses each year. That travel to the Midwest/ East Coast will be a killer. Plus if Cohen had closed the backdoor the PAC would still be 8 teams. CU and UA would have still gone to Big 12. , but PAC 8 would still have auto bid. Money would be the same Ducks are getting half in Big ten. A PAC 8 would have been glorious.
Reggie announced today that defamation lawsuit will continue against NCAA. sc

They needed some news out of New York that doesn't involve a Trump prosecution or Hamas.
