Hearing B10 still could take Wash/Stanford combo instead of Oregon. A lot still up in the air. This may be the busiest past 7 days of realignment ever.

Sure, until an invite is extended, anything can happen.
It's better long term for our quacks to go to the B1G now.
The B12 does nothing for us except provide a much easier path to a conference championship, and thus the playoffs.
This is really a battle between the B1G presidents/ADs and the networks.
One side is afraid of Oregon (*cough cough* favors stellar academics), the other side is all about the biggest brand available which will in turn bring in the most $$$$.
As with everything in college sports these days, follow the money, TEE.
Since August 18, 2022 B1G has had an NBC contract just like the domers
domer contract pays <$26mm per year and expires 2024
domers are valued at $60mm per year moving forward
so of course, they are demanding $75mm
B1G projected to payout $80 -100mm per year to members
Anything is possible. Truth be told I always thought it was greater than 50/50 that Ore and UW would eventually be B1G members. Maybe it will come sooner than later.
