The teams combined for 16-10 record last year. Ten losses is too many. Many new coaches on both teams but a lot of players are coming back.
Offense:
QB: Miller and Garbers are both above average Big 10 QBs. Garbers has more experience.
RB: Harden should get 1000+. USC has some good backs.
WRs: Bruins have their top 3 WRs plus Rico and ATM. USC has a lot of young guys.
Line: We both have to improve pass blocking. UCLA will have a new C.
TE: Both teams have guys who can make a catch every now and then but no Bowers-type guys.
Defense:
Both teams have good interior linemen but need Edge rushers. UCLA is hoping the guy from Johns Hopkins can replace one of the Murphy twins.
LB: Both teams have almost all their linebackers back.
S: Both teams have some transfers who will start.
CB: UCLA returns 3 of their top 4 corners. USC will have some young guys playing.
UCLA got some help with 6-7 Edge rusher Collins Acheampong coming in from Miami.
What about coaching?
You obviously know a little about UCLA but almost nothing about USC.....
