I'm with Clem in that I can't ever predict a UCLA loss. Bad juju. But I think the thing that works against UCLA is that the Bruins just haven't been in enough big road games in this type of environment. They were at Utah last season, and they got worked. But despite the loss, maybe having experienced that type of crazy environment will help. But I'm not sure there are any guys on the current team who have even played at Autzen. Maybe I'm wrong on that, but if so there are very few.
Chip knows that environment, so inasmuch as a coach can prepare a team for a road game, hopefully he will. Should be interesting. No predictions, but whoever wins is going to be tough to beat the rest of the way in conference play.
UCLA lost at Autzen in 2018 and a close one in 2020 38-35 when Chase Griffin filled in at QB for DTR who didn’t even make the trip. Kyle Phillips dropped a pass in the final minute of that game.
C’mon, UCLA played at Autzen in 2020. Hell, I think DTR played at Oregon’s old place.
