Yep. I wasn’t slamming him as much as it prob looks like.
Watching the shitshow Darnold played in New York gave me newfound perspective on what it takes to be a “successful” or a “winning” NFL QB. And about 50% is probably your talent.
You need Coaching. You need an OL.
You need talent around you- WRers & TE’s who can catch the rock let alone game breakers
You missed one..l Watching an NFL talk show and some ex-NFL QB's were talking and what they said is you need to get rid of the ego and think team and only do what you need ot do for the team....most of these kids what to show their talents and find out the hard way that you cna't operate that way in the NFL...they mentioned the kid Wilson in NY as an example...on the opposite end they talked about Mack jones taking what he was given and doing what he neededf ot do to help the team and that made sure jhis play was not about him but what was best for the team....that was their opinions...I agree mostly but I do think the HC may have a t to do with that since their jobs are on the line each week they don't have patience to do what they do in New England...and those ex-QB's made the comment that Mck Jones is doing exactly what the NE patriots did with Brady his first year...same regimine and playcalling approach..
Yikes, 9 TD to 14 int. I still think its better to let the rookie QB's sit a year and learn the offense before they thrown them in the fire. imho the risk of getting them hurt and killing their confidence outweighs the reward of the playing time. Bring them in for some garbage time or strategic substitutions, but limit their roles early.

Ouch!
Playing QB effectively in the NFL seems next to impossible.
put him on NE Patriots and he'd be top QB in the NFL... coaching is No. 1 in NFL and then talent. Big Nose Trevor ain't got either.
