The PAC 4 really boosts Big 10 baseball

4 Big 10 teams make the NCAA tourney, Oregon, UCLA, USC and Nebraska.

And USC has done it without playing a home game for 2 years due to the total remodel of Dedeaux Field.

I should go to this great park. Irvine is close. I’ve heard the name thrown around. I thought they were converting the old Tustin marine base to a great park. They have a baseball field there?

The baseball field is part of a sports complex and the baseball stadium holds 1450

And looks really nice.

Big enough for USC games but it will be nice to get back to Dedeaux when the remodel is done. It sounds like USC is basically rebuilding a whole new stadium. That in addition to the new football facility and the new women’s soccer and lacrosse field definitely shows USC is all in having top notch facilities and competing at the highest level. I hope so anyway.

And if Notre Dame doesn’t want to play us in early September then screw them. We don’t need them

You really should go to Great Park in Irvine. GIANT facility with over 1300 acres that houses 24 soccer, 40 softball fields (CIF finals are played there) and 45 baseball fields and so much more. Huge “ice facility” with multiple rinks (the Ducks train there). When competitive kids go to bigger tournaments or showcases, all they to do is play in one of the MANY tournaments at Great Park.
