oh, I agree that USC gets held to a far different standard. I'm just saying this wasn't going to stay hidden and when it did come out, usc would have been screwed regardless of whether Reggie paid back the money or not. He gave back the HT; did that help at all? No.
Should have kept it. Then USC could always claim 8 HTs regardless.
USC has 8 heismans. I know. You know it. The hiesman trust knows it and the NCAAknows it. In all likelihood, Reggie’s advisors told him to give it back because then he would be the good guy and also he would be more famous and make more money as the guy who gave it back then any other Heisman winner. See Wendy’s commercials. And Reggiecwill get it back and I think sooner rather than later. And USC should mske a replica and put it in Heritage Hall right now while giving the NCAA the middle finger JMHO
It was Reggie's call go give it back; just like USC to give back their copy. USC did what they needed to do, although I don't think anyone believed it was going to help. As for RB, he made his decision; I would have gone the other way. He put his body on the line for that trophy and that shouldn't be underestimated. In his shoes, I would have sent the Trust and the NCAA a copy of my highlight reel and told them to have a nice day. After all, the schools and networks didn't give back the money from the tix sales and tv revenue from games fans watched specifically to see RB play. And they more than got their monies worth.
Paul Dee. Phuck that guy, hope he is getting satan’s hoof up the azz
TM settled confidentially.
Maybe the jury foreman on McNairs case who also worked for lawfirm representing the ncaa???
maybe a payout to Lloyd Lakes??
Fu k Reggie. He let USCs name get thrown into trashbin.
