Dear Marshall Community,
I am delighted to share that U.S. News & World Report has recognized the Marshall Full-Time MBA as the 16th best program in the country this year, the school's highest-ever ranking. The Marshall MBA.PM program entered the U.S. News top 10, moving from 13th to 9th place.
While no one number can capture the spirit of Marshall, this year's MBA rankings are a reflection of our exceptional faculty, staff, students, and alumni. Through your hard work and dedication, particularly that of the outstanding Graduate Programs team, Marshall has not only persevered through unprecedented circumstances – we have excelled.
To name just a few examples: Faculty have advanced cutting-edge research on critical topics related to the pandemic and the global business environment while simultaneously creating an industry-leading virtual education on the fly; staff have navigated uncharted and anxiety-provoking waters with great skill and unstinting empathy and compassion; students have demonstrated extraordinary resilience and resourcefulness while putting their entrepreneurial minds to work to solve pressing real-life problems; and our alumni all around the world have led their communities and activated their connections to support our mission.
Marshall has long been known as a world-class institution and I couldn't be more pleased that our work is gaining ever more external recognition. I very much look forward to another year of building on this momentum together.
Sincerely,
Geoff Garrett, Dean
