Since BAMA has won most of those since Carroll and Kirby who learned under Saban pretty much most of the rest...I would say you are correct regarding how long anyone callin signals won anything but if you don't think Saban made sure Kiffin and Sark called plays the way he wanted them too ...you would be incorrect...as a HC Saban controlled what those two wanted to do. Heck a few instances you could catch saban chewing their asses off on the sidelines for not doing it his way....and if you dont think the UGA offesne wasn't controlled by Smart with a pouding running game you'd be wrong...Kirby took a lot of convinciing to allow his QB to throw a lot..

I remember Saban yelling at Kiffin on the sidelines. Good times. The best coaches are involved no doubt about it. For UCLA, Chip Kelly is so tied up with calling plays that it's all he does. He has tunnel vision and makes game management mistakes every game.
