I'm still having a hard time wrapping my mind around this one. I can't believe that nobody on the Miami sidelines knows how to do simple math.
I haven't read any follow-up to this debacle, or seen any clips of Mario's explanation, if he had one. What's the general story as to why/how this happened? How could there possibly be any kind of an excuse?
"No excuse, we told him to put both hands on the ball, we needed to take a timeout to recalibrate ". Wtf does recalibrate even mean in this situation. What a maroon.
Translation: "no one on the coaching staff has sufficient math skills to figure out all we needed was to take a knee. I usually have take my dick out to count to 11 to confirm I have enough players on the field, again no excuses but the fucking guy didn't listen about keeping two hands on the ball, but again , no excuses but it's his fault "
If it had been intercepted and run back for a pick 6 leading to a loss? Yes. Exactly like that.
Btw, the play you refer to along with the next play in which Caleb fumbled had me scratching my head. I posted "kick the fu$@$ng ball! " and then we fumbled the snap. You just never know. I think Riley trusts Caleb more than the snapper

like throwing an out when you should be taking a knee in front of the uprights for a gaming winning fg?
