Ex-USC coach McNair settles lawsuit with NCAAThe NCAA has settled a defamation suit filed by former USC football assistant coach Todd McNair, whom the NCAA accused of violating ethical conduct rules during its investigation into whether Reggie Bush received improper benefits.
You forget a few things...in his first trial his lawyers screwed up and removedf the most damaging charge against the NCAA which cost him a wn the first tie around and then appealed with that charge included. I beleive the jury said they would have convicted the NCAA on the charge his lawyers pulled from the lawsuit. Second the real damage to USC wasds the way Usc handled the lasuit or hould I say decided to not get involved with any kind of lawsuit and then when out and hired some of the worst coaches in USC history. It could have been if USC administration wasn't so weak with terrible AD's that the punishment the NCAA handed out may not have had the kind of impact it did. USC did a lot of the damage to themselves with their incompetance in how they themselves treated the footbsll program...
The NCAA sucks, so I hope this is some sort of victory. But McNair was a dog fighter, and any man who mistreats animals isn't a real man. Fuck him.
Which means SC is still Fd
Yep McNair is about to find out what a 1/3 of a 1/4 of a 1/2 is.....
doubt it. 40 percent plus expenses probably left McNair with close to bupkis. sc
Congrats to Todd McNair. It took him over 10 years to deliver the hurt to the slowly dying and thoroughly corrupt NCAA, but he did it. Well done McNair. The evil NCAA justifiably loses again.
BOOM!!! Well A man can dream right....
Now they need to restore the victories and national championship to USC, plus a hefty sum in punitive damages so USC can buyout Helton.
This really speaks to how air tight the NCAA case was. 1) Taint the jury pool with an employee of the law firm representing the NCAA & 2) then settle out of court with the Defendent.
Nice look.
