Is that a new injury? I forget if he’s the one who has been banged up over the years. Who had the horrible injury either in a bowl or practices leading up to it?

Riley claimed they were nagging injuries and that he needed to give the kid some rest time to get ready for the fall....sounds to me like he wasn;t ready for spring ball after his injury last season and he pushed himself possibly due to the talent at USC and may have re-aggravated injuries he previously had ...but that's just an opinion..
