travis dye showed leadership. He walked up and down and told his teammates they were gonna win. Put it on my back. I’ll carry you.
that’s a stud. And that’s what you expect of your qb. Thank goodness they had dye to be that voice And he’s a player who can back it up too. Caleb? Jury is still out.
4th and 6 does not even happen if he tucks the ball. Gets head down. Glances off people. drives for the sticks with his nose. He was fully upright. And took the hit. He reminds me of Michael jackson in a lot of ways to be honest. If Michael jackson played football he would be caleb Williams.
Dye was a helluva pick up. A man amongst boys and a leader on the field and off. Sometimes guys like that push the younger players into the background. brilliant move to bring him on board.
For a moment there it looked like we lost Caleb. He was flummoxed by the looks the Beaver D presented. Kudos for staying in there, making that 4th down, and of course, the dime to Addison for the TD. The rest of the game was ugly.
Yeah he really dances around that Caleb stuff. LOL He is loath to criticize or critique his guys publicly and I suppose that's Riley's style and that's fine. But he clearly didn't want to address it. "we need to coach better" Yeah, you can coach all you want but if a kid doesn't have his feet set and throws a swing pass into the ground repeatedly? Any 6th grade QB is coached to get their feet under him. So nothing your better coaching is going to do there. At some point the kid has to do it. And when he continues to play sloppy as a coach you have to sit there and ask whether it's worth replacing him or the sloppy kid is still better than your next option
50 million per fist bump. When he woyks he woyks haaaaahd!
Pouting on the sideline is not leadership.
