Getting back to your recruiting rank comparisons, from memory you stated SC's class avg ranking was 90.something. I checked both rivals and 247's ranking recruiting averages for both SC and Oregon.
Rivals has Oregon at 92.654 and SC at 93.202
247 has Oregon at 94.39 and SC at 92.17
As I see it, there is not a lot of difference there on quality of recruit averages.
