The LA Time and Bill Plashke are NEVER right about anything.
At first I questioned the wisdom of doing this mid-season like with Sark and Kiffin but when I thought about it (something the LA Times and Fag/Plashke never do) I came to reazlize that it was a great move and absolutely necessary because:
They knew his teams are weak and they know why;
Recruiting is slipping;
The performance against Stanford confirmed their belief a change was needed but what if he goes 8=4 or 9-3 and beats ND and UCLA;
They need to send a message to recruits and not lose any more ground there;
They are losing their fans with Helton's brand of football; and
They now have all kinds of time to find a replacement.
Ha ha. you have a point on Plashke.
Nice.
you have another point on LA Times. They are even worse.
