@August West Did I mention that the real Brian isn't doing so well? I feel kinda bad about posting that original Brian story because, even though it was true (WRT Brian's nature), the truth is also that he was a pretty good guy. And his health is really bad now. He had a quadruple about 2 years ago and can barely walk because of other issues, including a fucked-up back, etc. I hope he can get better, but it's not looking very good.
nor is anything I say about ucly an exaggeration or untruth. And I rarely initiate anything about ucly, except in response to the Kaboomers, like Stalin.
@Waldorf alty deserved it...when Domani originally decommited from USC, he posted a massive gloat on here. (It can be seen today.) My post was in response to that
...since he did nothing to retract his gloat....and of course he was here Kabooming only yesterday about a qb transferring into ucly. Giving him a chance for some balance, knowing it was killing him.
And I aint a big guy. I have never welched on any bet, but I do not bet with lying brunes.
@thesquat Okay, fair enough. But in fairness I think that the QB transfer to UCLA is a legit and possible Kaboom, though. Not saying he's going to be the next Heisman winner, but he does look like he could be a really good one. Depends on how fast he can learn Chip's pro-style offense; it took DTR three years to get proficient, which is why Chip should probably be running something less complex and more intuitive.
@Waldorf agreed...I think he will be a star, better than DTR, especially since he has a lot of actual game time. Domani is a speedster, but it takes time to be ready for college receivers and schemes. Like all recruits, it is all on the come... and sometimes they do not come.
@BobLinMN-2 Bob, Is it as hard for you as it is for me, to attach credibility to the claim that ucly cares more about academics than some other place, especially when they hand out degrees in things like ethnic studies and boast about it? My JD Boredom true story really put ants and creepy crawlers in his u-trou.
@BobLinMN-2 ok...ok...you're talking about the "fuck sc" instead of the "fight, fight, fight." Right?
The reason I didn't get is that I never learned it that way, nor do I ever cheer it that way. And as far as I know it's not the official words to the 8-clap.
I do know Sons of Westwood makes reference to USC, but Mighty Bruins does not, and Mighty Bruins became the official fight song in the 80s.
I freely acknowledge that USC is UCLA'S biggest rival, and that the reverse is not true, at least WRT football. But to say that USC is the benchmark for everything at UCLA is a lot of bullshit and arrogance from USC...hardly surprising.
@Pasadena Trojan Nah. I'm sure UCLA has cheated, particularly back then. I'm not willing to call it rampant because I don't know the facts, neither do you, and neither does that moron squat.
My overall point is that academics at UCLA are more important than sports, overall, and I don't think that's the same at USC. You people define yourselves by football to levels of extreme dysfunction.
@OldHickoryTrojan Yeah, that's true. He grew up a UCLA fan, so he must have his head screwed on straight. And while it's understandable why Young didn't become a Bruin -- because Chip was ruining the program -- at least he had the good sense to avoid USC.
What do your wives say (assuming you are able to get within 10 feet of a live vagina) when you yell Kaboom! when a 17 year old kid commits to USC? Do they think it is strange that you are on your ipad looking at footage of young men playing football in the middle of the holiday season, or do they just roll with it? I have always felt the attraction to following recruiting to such an extent is a little strange. What do I know though.
@DayStalker i think the idiot criminal stalker is trying to tell a joke....but would be better served to keep his day job...o, wait, watching the mail for government free money is not actually a job.
USC got the right guy..Saban is going ot have to deal with some headaches with the other guy even if he is a talented shutdown corner...now lets get a couple LBers and DLmen and two of the three OL targets on the radar...this will be a tough one...
Waldorf bringing back the classics: Take my wife, please

o really....ucly does not define itself in relation to USC? I guess altleftwing never got that memo.
the truth never bothers me. We heard the same truth about Josh Rosen, imported from Palos Verdes to Bellflower.
i forgot....there is always that MYTH about ucly academics....which apparently was waived for all those Crenshaw brunes.
sucks for you brunes, eh? But USC cannot get 'em all...Ricks stayed in the godawful south and Bailey went to the Indians.
Is he the guy who beat the fuck out of that scrub at Mater Dei and gave him brain damage?
Looks like Mater Dei is back to being USC's farm team.

Where is penis envying Altleftwing.....not even half a Boom for a supposed 5 star guy?
Right the Fuck On!!
BOOM!!!
Legit Kaboom.
