Purdy could have a concussion so bad that his ears are bleeding and he'd still have higher mental capacity than Sam. Sam has the IQ of a doornob.

Count the W for the 49ers. Purdy is a nice system guy but not the savior everyone thinks he is. Darnold will get it done.

Purdy, who I really liked in college, is something else. Not an elite QB prospect or talent but he sure has an All Pro brain and great poise. His success is no accident.

Montana wasnt the most "talented" QB prospect either. What's between the ears is always undervalued and is the hardest to measure.

Sam needs to elevate his mental game. Talent wise, not many in Sams league inc this years #1 pick Bryce Young.
