Coaches are now allowed to donate to NIL entities

If a coach really wants a player he can give $50k to NIL to be earmarked for the recruit. The money can then be deposited into the recruit's bank account the same day. It could be part of an official visit. All 100% legal. Crazy stuff. A few states have laws regarding HS players but not many.

Official visits are going to become like speaking engagements for top 50 recruits. $50k for a weekend OV and $20k for an UV. A 5-star might get $100-200k for an OV. An in-home visit will be at least $5k.

When you pay people btw you need to give them either a w2 or a 1099. Wonder how schools are handling that.

Gosh...if Uncle Phil weren't around it might explain why Oregon gave that raise to Lanning...but with Nike they really don't need to tap into Lanning's new found income...bottom line they had better jump on that Big 12 offer or get stuck in a conference where they might as well become Boise St. or Nevada...

Bush on campus didn't cheat. His parents got free rent 3 hours south. Charles Woodson was paid all 3 years at Michigan. He has his heisman. Mark ingram was paid at Alabama. Said so. He has his. Several guys were flat straight out oaid. They have theirs. Shoot cam newtons dad auctioned him off for $100,000 to auburn and won the nc. They still have that. Think he won the heisman too. Still has it.

So no. The bush cheated stuff doesn't fly

Bottom line. It happened. Reggie really did run all over you. Really did acore like 160 points in 3 years on you. Really did fly over that guy in the end zone. And really did win the heisman. Oj doesn't have his either but still happened.
