That O line sucks ass and has sucked ass for a while. Not sure it's not a whole lot better for Darnold. Wilson did more than most could have had with that line the last few years.

Wilson's already a HOF QB. I'm just hoping Magic-Man-While-at-USC Sam Darnold finds a decent team where he can start.
This Seattle situation is very interesting, with Carroll and Wilson very publicly at odds, when it doesn't really seem like Wilson is asking for much, since he's by far and away the best player on the Seahawks.
I think Seattle would be crazy to let Wilson go, and Darnold is certainly no match for the HOFer, and frankly doesn't look like he'll ever come even close.
Word is Carroll is enamored with Darnold's game and ceiling.
Don't think it's as a backup, which would be great for Darnold for at least a season.
I have always been a big Wilson Fan since his days at Wisconsin and his beyond impressive showing on Gruden's old quarterback show.
Carroll never wanted Wilson in the first place and was pissed when he was overruled during that draft. THey had just gone on in (CACHING) on Matt Flyn, who to Checkers surprise, Wilson beat out.
Wilson isn't happy in Seattle now. that much is obvious. Should be fun to see how this plays out. sc
Does Pete see Darnold as a back-up to Wilson for a couple years? Seems more likely Sam would go to a team without a Top 10-15 QB. I guess we'll see soon...

Russell Wilson was the 12th Pick in the 3rd Round. Darnold was #3 Overall.
