Amazing. Friggin' amazing. Too bad this board is a morgue these days. I don't expect any congrats even if anyone had any to give as no one really hangs here in the Wildwest any longer... 😒
As I've said countless times, if you pac-12 fans went to a college with major college sports teams as poor as Oregon's were in the 1980s, you'd understand this sort of post better, I think... To win p12 championships in both sports in consecutive years was absolutely unthinkable for this quack as an undergrad....it was ALL UCLA, USC and Washington (plus Oregon State in basketball) back then...
Congrats, however there will always be the asterisks
Do you consider playing 2 less teams having a backdoor pac 12 championship? sc
LOL! Yes, OSU beat us fair & square. Just be happy the p12 is getting 5 total teams in the Big Dance this year. Pretty cool, if you ask this Quack!
And let's see if someone other than Oregon can do more damage than simply be a 1 and done... This is getting so old...lol. Altman's never lost a first round game in the tourney in 6 tries at Oregon. Would likely have been a high seed and would probably be 7 if COVID had not scrubbed last year's Dance.
Funny that every time OSU beats Oregon, Oregon still goes on to have a better season.... Will that continue? Hope the Dance will be kind to them...finally....the Beavs haven't won a 1st round game since the Invasion of the Falkland Islands, Thriller was released and Adobe was founded.....lol.
(The answer is "1982" for those of you playing at home.)
😎
Ducks quack under pressure
This post needs to be updated Beavers rule, ducks quack.
You have the best Bball coach in the conference and while it is too early to tell, you might also have the best football coach.
Congrats on the pac 12 title! See u in vegas
Congrats.
Sweet. If Oregon wins the p12 tournament too, it will be back-to-back pac-12 tournament titles as well!
Last team to win the p12 tourney? Oregon in 2019. 😎
That said, good luck to the Trojans in the Big Dance--I think they still have a great chance to make the Elite Eight this season. NOBODY can beat your Trojans when they are playing like we've all seen them play.
Not quite "regular season" isn't the title. SC is #2 seed for the tournament that determines the title.
