he has actually earned another shot somewhere. number 4. since 2003 wasn't really another shot.
As I posted when he was drafted and haven't changed since, I didn't think he was going to be a Star in the league. Kid just holds onto the ball too long, and makes some stupid decisions. Simply can't turn the ball over in the NFL.
If you wanted to notice deer in the headlights, it was his head coach? Hey idiot , did you learn NOTHING from the Lion's game? put in some quick release plays for christ's place. make the D pay . Nothing, no adjustments. Makes no sense to me. But I just started watching more of the NFL.
Sam is who is he. A great All American person. His teammates would run through a brick wall for him. He learned how to put his team on his back at San Clemente High as a former linebacker, ( and REAL cif , not that retard small school crap that SitaloneSanka and "his" kids that don't look like him went out in methland), and Put his team on his back and won the rosebowl and his conference. Then a couple of lousy teams, and a backup to the guy that came in second for MVP. Sam looks just like his Dad. Did you picture Fake Lake with a fro?
This season he quite unexpectedly beat out the number one draft choice and franchise savior , that had just won the natty . 14 wins later Sam showed his flaws and got ZERO help from his coaching staff.
Great hometown kid that's humble and kind. Was picking up someone from his best friend's mom's house where she still cuts hair out of her garage by T street. He asked me if I still liked living where I'm at with all the beach erosion. Just a normal guy who is so proud he went to USC, his life's dream.
My guess is the Vikings will go with there meditating quarterback and Sam will land somewhere else and get another shot. Can he be coached into being a better NFL quarterback? Don't know. He certainly can't be a better Trojan.
Either way, I will be bummed when he shits the bed and beaming when he wins. Dude is not without a learning curve like Caleb.
Now which team has all the pieces and just needs a quarterback to make a legit run in the playoffs? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. sc
You could ay that about lottery winners.

A tiny bit of legacy? Respect? Maybe a playoff win? 🤷🏽♂️
If Darnold never makes another penny I think he can live quite well on his $65
Million earnings.
