I like it. Oregon is the highest rated pac 12 team at #11, UW at #20. AP has ASU at #25 and Utah @ 24. Other notables, Mack Brown has the heels at #10. Texas?#21, Mack won that one. Our future coach debuts at #9. A big year for Cincinnati and the offers will flood in, same for the guy at Iowa state. Oh and at #16 behind SC? Someone called it a dogshit program. UCLA? Can’t find them in the list. I checked twice, no UCLA. Chip is a dead man walking. Irish @#9. SC will visit South Bend, likely, undefeated , would be nice to see the Irish also undefeated and wearing those green jerseys.

with Slovis 9 1/2 wins . without Slovis, depends when when or even if he goes down. Lets be positive
what the over and under for how we finish? Even with our SOS, if Slovis goes down early we might be looking at a 5-win season.
It’s hard to imagine a young up and coming coach deciding to stay in a place like Ames Iowa for a long time. Iowa will open up some day, not to mention Oklahoma and/or Texas. Your last comment about needing a top qb to be top ranked is why I’m optimistic about the Trojans. It’s also why I think we have a chance to beat the Irish. even Pete struggled to 9-4 when he had to start a true freshman, by comparison, Clay went 5-7. Ouch. Pete with a 3 year starter went undefeated or at worst 10-2. congrats on recruiting, super mario is getting it done, but be concerned about flipping Helton. 😂
I don't think Iowa State's coach is going anywhere, but if he did go somewhere, as a duck I would worry greatly if he went to USC.
It's easy to be slotted at #11 now. But to end the season at #11 the keys for Oregon will be:
- Stay healthy on the D line (very thin there)
- Find replacements for the two formerly-starting airsoft twins in the secondary
- QB Anthony Brown has to be good enough to manage the game, not necessarily win the game, for my quacks. Just don't F it up, basically....lol. But even with that, you don't get to the top 10 or so with simply an ok QB...
