WTF difference does it make? The fact that he's leaving speaks volumes enough. And it makes total sense. Why in the world would he stick around that sinking ship? Chip and Jarmond and the Jocksniffers have buttfucked that program so badly, why not let the best component of the team go across town and play for your archrival?

It is good news for USC fans, though. Lynn produced a defense that finished, I believe, #11 in total defense. The year before, with pretty much the same personnel, that same unit finished somewhere in the 80s nationally. So, expect USC's shitass defense to turn around pretty quickly, even if you don't upgrade the shitass personnel.

UCLA made a strong counter. Why did he ultimately go? I think he's sick of Chip and was concerned about most of his starters being gone. Also, if he can get USC o a top 4@ defense, he'll be hailed as the greatest coach in the country.
