UCLA guard Johnny Juzang has been named to the 2021 All-Tournament team after helping the Bruins go to the Final Four.
Juzang joins Davion Mitchell and Jared Butler of Baylor and Jalen Suggs and Drew Timme of Gonzaga on the All-Tournament team.
UCLA was one of the biggest stories of postseason as it went from an 11-seed that had to start in the play-in game to the Final Four, and Juzang was one of the main factors to the Bruins' NCAA Tournament run.
In six games, Juzang averaged 22.8 points per game, which is up considerably from his season average of 16.0. Juzang scored a total of 137 points -- not only the most in this year's tournament, it was also the second-most in a single tournament in UCLA history behind Gail Goodrich who scored 140 in 1965.
In the Final Four loss to No. 1-seed Gonzaga, Juzang posted his most points in the tournament with 29 on 12 of 18 shooting (66.7%), which went along with his 6 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals.
this is where pasadena comes in and says, "ya but there were OT games."
It's fun when his sadness and bitterness kicks in.
