The dude was absolutely dominant at UCLA. If his knees hadn't been for shit, he'd have had a much better NBA career, which wasn't terrible as it was.
I think if I met the guy I'd probably like him, but I don't like him as a hoops color guy because he just doesn't know when to shut the fuck up. Yeah, Bill, I know you're there to add some fun, but don't do it in critical moments when the game is in progress.
Based on his NBA MVP, sixth man of the year and TWO NBA chips while hobbled/injured I think you’re right.
His teammates loved him and his game. Funny story that came up was that Bill and McHale played one on one one day and Bill kicked his ass. The Chief was laughing his but off while retelling it.
I got to know Bill a little bit when he joined a bike ride I was part of in Mammoth Lakes some years back. It was a group of seven and he just showed up. None of us knew he was coming.
He’s obviously a bike riding fool not fast but can go forever. Cool guy it was fun talking to him.
Met Bill at a Dead show back in the mis 80's? Just hangin with a big smile on his face. Ventura County Fairgrounds. Great place to see a concert
Watching now. Episodes 3 & 4. Good stuff.
His foot issues are being discussed. Sad to see.
Man I have a thing for redheads. First Darnold and now Bill. 😂😂 Likeable dude.
