Pads gave up a ton for Miller. Stewart not as much. Outman was done. Also making league min. Not sure why SD would go so hard after a closer who has a horrible ERA for closers this year
Miller was dominant last year. Fastball is king. He throws harder than anyone. He went up to 104 this year. But the transience of a relief pitcher is well known. Their GM has suggested he could start, he's under team control for a few more years. That said, giving up the #3 overall minor leaguer, a SS, is quite risky for a reliever.
Brock's 35 y/o I think. So we're looking at him for maybe just this year. This has been his breakout year.
