Shohei pitching update

He had his 4th pen session today. It was a light one. He’ll have a full one on Saturday. He’s throwing his 4-seam, 2-seam, and split. Throwing 92 easy. Hopefully, soon he’ll start facing some hitters. Time of return is still a couple of months away.

No kidding. Not sure if you remember but after everyone thought the dodgers were ruining baseball I posted that this dodger team isn’t as great as everyone said.

As a recap my opinions were and are:

1 I don’t like Mookie playing SS and I think Rojas edman and Taylor are better defensively.

2 I don’t think Michael comforto is much

3 dodger starters are deep but overrated. Sasaki is wild and a work in progress. Glasnow and snell are both serious hit and miss. And injury risks Like they can be horrible. Yamamoto needs time off. And Shohei is hurt and in hurry to come back.

4 the bottom half of their lineup doesn’t impress me. Muncy is declining. Barnes and Taylor are washed up. Smith has declined. And not convinced about the Korean 2b.

5 the bullpen looks to be the greatest of all time.

As you can see from the above some things have proven out and others not so much.

1 has not been an issue yet

2 haven’t noticed but he is who he is

3 spot on. Thank goodness for Yamamoto and Dustin May

4 that and moreso Tommy edman has been a savior Rojas Muncy Taylor pages Barnes smith have not produced.

5 they’ve been pretty good though they’ve had some high profile blow ups
