"I mean he can’t even hit mistakes anymore" That's the most galling. Pitchers now make sure they don't walk his limp-bat so he gets 2 or 3 juicy fastballs per game down the middle; still nothing, often missed, at best fouled off.

He sucks. He’s sucked for a 2 plus years. He had half a good season. he always was messing w his swing and now he has no idea who he is. I said early on he was too upright and had an inside hole. And it was exposed in the playoffs. Now he has holes everywhere. Inside low. Outside low. Which he actually swings at. Anything letter high or above. And even meatballs he now fouls off. I mean he can’t even hit mistakes anymore. No idea why la is messing w him this much. Maybe they give him repa because everyone else is hurt. Maybe lux and Beaty have Lower ceilings. They are certainly both disasters as outfielders

    Replying to

His upper cut swing makes him an easy target for fastballs between his waist and letters. He either swings and misses, fouls the ball straight back or pops up to the infield and until be beats the shift by trying to hit to the opposite field, he will never hit for a good average.

He has a wacky GF/Fiancé. I blame her. I fear She’s no Susan Sarandon.

How much longer does Roberts keep putting him into the lineup?
