And the new California scheme to drain your battery at night during shortages wears out the battery soon, moving energy back and forth like that looses energy, and a bi-directional capability is costlier.
Yes, and then you have no juice in the AM, you have to wait for the charging, and everyone re-charges at the same time Producing the brown-out that would have occured the night before. The also sell this as a benefit because the electric company buys back the juce and you get $$, but you paid for it to begin with (zero sum) and then you have to buy it back, but, because of transmission losses, what you sell is less than what you baught and have to buy back (worse than zero sum). Buy Newsome is saying you get a benefit.
At what point does some dude come up with a way to quickly steal/siphon the charge off of parked cars with a big mobile battery bank and then re-sell fast charges on the black market? That has to be easy to do if the state can do it. Just go into parking lots and wait for people to go in and tap into their battery.
Chevy Volt. Only 70,000 miles too. That's pricey. Spend a little more and buy a Tesla. 8 year or 100,000 mile warranty. It's the smart move. This is probably a fake invoice tho.
