I pay all of my workers (all four of them) more than the industry average. Not because the continuity does anything measurable for my business, but because I generally don;t like people and when I find those with whom I am comfortable, it's just easier to pay them more than to have to look again.

The US jobs argument is silly. If Sub Zero made a product as good as the Samsung, I'd be happy to buy it. I'm under no obligation to buy American products that are not as good as their foreign competitors. Make a decent product and I'll buy it. And I agree that it is in the interest of Sub Zero to pay lower wages, I just think it's chickenshit and counterproductive. In driving wages down, you aren't creating consumers.
