first term. Couple that with the economy still in the throes of the Bush disaster and it's a tough time. Interestingly, Bill, polls show that voters blame republicans more than Democrats and republicans are substantially less-favorably viewed.

It's just a bad time to be an incumbent and we have more and we have a lot of seats that, by all rights, should not be ours.
