Alabama last year was so overrated. UGA, Auburn, LSU, Tenn all were having off years by their standards. I think they also got the benefit of missing Ole Miss and Florida (during the regular season) last year as well.
Last year Alabama was slow, below average on offense, and predictable. Saban's run at Alabama is not going to last. He will skirt the rules and get Alabama in trouble.
From what I have been told by a couple LSU Boosters is that when he left after the BCS Title Game vs Oklahoma, not many Tiger fans were upset or shed a tear. There was quite a bit of monkey business going on in Baton Rouge. And they were relieved he took an NFL job. Les Miles is Coach, recruiter and person than Saban.
Additionally, a family friend out of Atlanta who is very big benefactor to Alabama football told me he has met Saban and he gives Used Car Salesman a bad name. His ego is bigger than his hair.
