It's not that bad, Duck

My biggest problem with the new Oregon [football] green isn't that it's a change from the 50s and 60s; it's that, as greens go, I liked the "traditional" green and I hate the new green--or, to be accurate, greens.

For the record, I also think BYU made a big mistake when they changed their blue 7 or 8 years ago.

And, for the record, I LOVE the colors of the SC football unis. I don't think the color is unique enough among college teams to be its own brand (think Carolina Blue, Texas burnt orange) but that, for me, is the ideal. One color scheme and logo scheme for the entire school--all teams, men and women, all departments, etc.

On the other end of the color spectrum are our friends from Westwood. Check out the sideline during a UCLA game sometime. Players, coaches, cheerleaders, song girls, jugglers--each with a separate blue and gold color scheme. More blues than a B.B. King concert.
