Some time between now and the start of the football season the NCAA is going to slap the Ducks for the Willie Lyles affair. Likely it will involve a post season ban and a few scholarships lost. The question that occurs to me is the following: If the ducks get a post season ban do they appeal the ruling and delay its implementation until the appeal is heard thereby delaying the ban until after the 2013 season instead of this season? If they take the penalty this year they miss playing Barkley in the conference championship game. Plus next year they will not have to play The Trojans at all(assuming the Trojans don't win the southern division) which will be a big boost twards getting into the MNC game. I bet the Ducks take their medicine and don't play poat season this year.
