I agree with everyone else - I would rather see almost anyone else running the D.

The better players we get the more frustrating it is to watch them lay back in T2.  I would rather hear a convincing argument that I am wrong than continue believing BS.   Always.

I don't even have a horse in this race.  I just think that Monte teaching something other than T2 was a bigger potential disaster than our 2011 T2.  That's all.

My point was really just to generate some discussion using actual players and schemes other than the useless dissection of 4 star vs 5 star talent of Isaac and Davis.  They are future Trojans and who knows?  I personally think that Agholor will develop into a multithreat player in the next few years.  We will see.

Unfortunately, the defensive frustration won't change unless Monte retires or leaves.  The recruiting will give us a good to great defense.  I'm starting to trust that the O is in capable hands.  I just hope it is enough.  At a minimum I can't put the recruiting / planning strategy at anything short of stellar.  That may be enough - especially if we can land another quality DT and an OLer or 2.
