Still we need the RS freshman to do well

We were fortunate last year to have the redshirt freshman LBs really come on and playn well as the season progressed. Similiar contributions from Woods and Heyward at the DT position would go a long way to making SC a real player for the BCS title. No matter how good the offense is there will be a couple games during the year they don't play really well and the defense will have to make plays and get key stops. Look what happened to Green Bay this year in the playoffs and SC in 2005 when they narrowly got by Fresno State before the Texas RB.
