focused primarily on the O-line and D-line -- and IMO, not on the biggest key to USC's success during this coming 3 years of probation.  Without the development of either Cody Kessler and/or Max Wittek into a premier QB(s), we will have big problems.  IMO, whether USC is shaky, moderately successful or very competitive rests wih Clay Helton.  His rep is great -- let's hope it's not just hype.  Time will tell.

BTW -- it's obvious to me that Lane will put Matt Barkley in a position to run up his stats in the race for the Heisman Trophy.  I only hope that he won't do that "TOTALLY" at the expense their development.  They need meaningful playing time and that equates to not just being asked to take a knee.
