to give up those spots for recruits like Peat, Murphy, Shittu and Dodson and probably a few other 4 star level prospects from back east. No reason to give up those spots for lesser players or projects, when those spots can be filled in the spring with early entrants from the 2013 class. That is the question Kiffin will have to answer for the next two recruiting classes. Why fill extra spots with bodies when they can be filled with early entrants who are potentially better.

I think this worked out great for SC, provided that the 3 early entrants this spring are better than anyone USC could have possibly signed this past Wednesday.
