but he doesn't feel USC strongly enough to override his father's influence. And that is what i am saying. His father only let him go through the motions with USC, because that is what a player of his caliber in So Cal is expected to do. But he grew up a bruin, and is a bruin at heart. He may like USC, but he doesn't have the emotional connection to USC, which is what he would have needed to pull away from what his father wants for him. If I am not mistaken, his mother is also a ucla grad. That's a tough situation to beat, much like with Torian White last year. Sure he liked USC, and it was the better choice, so he gave us a long look, but in the end, he wasn't with us emotionally.His heart was with ucla, and ultimately the emotional pull with his family was stronger than what might have been the smatter choice.
