The issue is the "hit".

Don't seem to recall you ever jumping on a trojan for cold-cocking some one. I guess it's never happened despite all those stars and such you've had in uniform. Okay, so he was hitting an opponent (in a rough game) without the ball. Does that make it illegal? Was it a legal hit? Of course. Is it part of the game? Yes.

So where do we draw the line?

Let's compare this hit to ReyRey's celebrated hit on UCLA QB (Cowan) at out-of-bounds. Rey had just been sent in from the sidelines and first play was cheap hitting opposition QB. Or, compare it to tackles by ASU's Burfict..... and don't tell me people don't like big collisions.

You wouldn't be saying jack if it wasn't for the fact he's UCLA's 300# animal.
