...at least that's the conventional wisdom as compared with Scout.

That said, does it really matter how many stars USC's players are vis a vis UCLA's players?

What really matters is how a guy fits into a system...and what he does in that system.

Heck, Masoli wasn't even rated and he got the ducks to #2 in the pac in 2008 and #1 in 2009. And he was fairly perfect for Oregon's offense.

Hundley is a great QB...and a great pick-up for UCLA. Will be interesting to see how Chow uses him, though, as he's not a drop-back, pro-set QB like USC's new recruits are.

Ducks had a fair chance at landing Hundley, but I think he didn't want to compete with Jerrard Randall after camping with him.

It's crazy that USC can nab two top 10 qbs in the same class...especially in light of all their qbs transferring out recently...
