Notice Lake says something (paraphrasing) "he should have known"

He never outright says he told him, but that he had to have known (magically!) and the G/F does the same thing saying she knew he was talking to "coach" but never really acknowledges being a part of the convo.

Its all circular talk and the NCAA bought it.
