McNair wants to sue NCAA, not appeal

By: SC66

his appeal is a formality, he has hired a high priced Kansas City attorney who has taken the gig on a contingency basis and they are not doing that unless they feel he has a great case. This allows USC to act above the frey while Todd does the dirty work. And having followed this case for over five years, I believe that Todd has the NCAA by the balls. They can deny his appeal, be sued, and look like fools in court, or they can uphold his appeal and pay him a nice 7 figure settlement to go away, and since this would gut their case vs. USC, they would have to figure out a way to placate USC, which to me means, a substantail reduction in penalties. I don't believe that the NCAA wants the McNair case to ever see the light of a court case, which in my humble opinion is great for USC. Someone, in the future is going to write a book about this case exposing the NCAA for what it did to USC, and the sooner the better. fight on. Not a lawyer all you UCLA fans, just an opnion, but a fact based opinion. For those who disagree, read Todd's appeal, tell me where it is wrong and we can discuss.
