As for Kobe being traded for Chris Paul, that's not going to happen -- you're not going to see the Lakers giving the other Staples occupant that kind of fan power. That would be one incredible dumb trade -- strictly from a management and marketing point-of-view.
BTW -- are you aware that the Lakers are approaching the time for a new Bynum contract? That too could motivate a trade with Bynum as the cornerstone of any deal.
