Can afford a front line of Howard and no one. Who else plays the front line then? Artest? Mc Roberts? I think if you are LA and you give up all 3 of your long guys in one year to get Howard it doesn't work. It takes 3 stars to win, and granted, Howard and Bryant are among the biggest. But Bryant's days as a jumping jack are numbered. He is likely headed the Magic andd Jordan route and going to become a 3. But neither Magic nor Jordan were as effective as 3's. Just a way to milk a few more years out of a career and average 15 a game. Help the team out and collect big $.
I'm not sure how they get Howard without Gasol and Bynum. Bynum is another personal loser to me. Been in the league 7 years and done jack squat. In HS his coaches didn't like him and in fact they thought LA made a huge mistake drafting him. I now christen him "Benoit Bynum" because he is to me the 2nd coming of Benoit Benjamin. So I would go ahead and dump him. Kobe was right. But beyond that? What does LA have? World Peace? Walton? Orlando does them a favor by taking either. I don't see La hving anything to offer and don't see how they win with Howard, Bryant and 3 stiffs on the floor.
