the "Pau is a loser" part.
I ask you this Java -- after Shaq left for Miami, how did the Lakers do before Pau came to town? He's clearly soft at times -- but a loser, no way. He was to a large extent responsible for the repeat Laker fans were given.
Now, getting back to this current 66 game season. I really don't believe the Lakers are through upgrading this roster -- and if they are, Jimmy Buss is the problem, not Mitch -- and certainly not Pau. Once Bynum gets back, I see him in Orlando for Superman -- unless, of course, Adolph Stern voids the trade. Orlando has no choice, unless they want to follow the Cleveland model (losing James and getting nobody).
I wouldn't want to lose both Bynum and Pau, but the future requires a deal of that magnitude. Howard is a beast, plain-and-simple.
