Think for a second here. The NFL has taken over the various channels. The World Series is Super compelling right now. NHL hockey is going for those who like that. And college hoops is just about here. And of course, CFB. There is plenty to keep our interest and keep us busy.
CFB will go to early January. NFL to early Feb. Hockey (not into it) for the whole winter and spring. College basketball until early April, and then we have baseball season.
In some ways this is a blessing because we were over loaded on sports. Too cluttered. This is nice. I will miss he NBA playoffs like anything else, but we have college hoops, not like there is no basketball to watch.
Both sides are goign to lose a ton and maybe that's the way it ought to be. They can see their $ go to college teams and football as well as baseball.
